PRIME is a holistic Productivity and Innovation Programme to help companies sustain innovation-led and productivity-driven improvement and growth. It is jointly brought to you by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), Human Capital Singapore (HCS), Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) and Employment and Employability Institute (e2i).
All companies are eligible to participate. Funding applicable to Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents.
How would PRIME benefit your organisation?
(i) Excite Your Organisation and People
Through a series of productivity and innovation conferences, seminars and master-classes, PRIME seeks to outreach to and "excite" your organisation and people on the concept and benefits of embarking on the productivity journey. Through these platforms, industry leaders and productivity practitioners will share emerging trends, best practices and productivity techniques. The first of a series of master-classes is "Global Leadership, Innovation and Productivity" master-class will be held at the Global Entrepolis @ Singapore 2012. It is also a great opportunity to network and meet peers in the industries for knowledge and experience sharing for productivity improvement.
(ii) Enable Your People with relevant Skills
The "Empowering Efficiency & Excellence" productivity programme is designed for key personnel identified by their organisations to be trained and developed as Productivity Champions or Change Agents within companies to implement productivity and business innovation tools and initiatives at the enterprise level. Through on-site productivity diagnostic, bundled with training, mentorship and project consultancy by NexMU consultants with track record of delivering projects yielding an average of 40% productivity improvement for identified process; participants would be "enabled" to deliver a company-identified productivity project within three months. For more information, please visit: http://www.sbf.org.sg/public/eventsvc/sbfservices/i3.jsp
(iii)Sustain Your Productivity Journey
"Sustaining" the productivity momentum within the organization requires fundamental mindset change; this is where managers and supervisors could acquire organizational development skills set through HR WSQ programmes to support the companies' productivity and innovation drive. A company-wide productivity training plan would be needed, to equip staffs of all levels with knowledge and skills to initiate and execute their duties and productivity roles. Companies could also tap on the Inclusive Growth Programme (IGP) for automation, equipment, process re-engineering and training costs for productivity improvement projects. For more information, please visit: http://www.e2i.com.sg/services/employers/inclusive-growth-programme
(iv) Recognize Your Organisation's Success and Enhance Profiling
'PRIME Innovation and Productivity Awards' which seeks to "recognize" companies which have achieved sustainable productivity growth. These are exemplary industry leaders and companies that serve to be role models to spur the rest of the industry towards embarking on the productivity and innovation journey.
