The assessment adopted for CWPL is the Business Chinese Test (BCT), which is an international vocational-based assessment developed by The Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban) - a division of Ministry of Education, China. What you will learn

There are five language proficiency levels in the CWPL series. The Beginner Level covers Level 1 to 2 (including 0), the intermediate level covers Level 3 to 4 while the Advanced level covers Level 5.
Before commencement of the programme, learners are required to take a pre-training assessment - Business Chinese Test (BCT) for placement into the respective course levels. However, learners with Primary 3 Chinese language standard and below will be directly placed into the Beginner course and shall be exempted from the pre-training assessment.
Certification you can attain
After successful completion and assessment of each training module, you will receive a certificate from Hanban indicating your competency level for Listening & Speaking, Reading and Writing skills respectively, depending on the type of test taken.
